I Eat Impossible for Breakfast

I owe much of who I am to the amazing people that have supported, guided and influenced my life. On this Mother’s Day it goes without saying that my Mother and Grandmother have greatly shaped who I am. They are both intelligent, mom_i_baby_Editstrong women, who faced struggles in their life and persevered as a result. I do not know who or where I would be in life if it wasn’t for them. What better way to honor their lives and legacy than to announce my BIG IDEA and pass on their drive to others.

This is for all the women out there: mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters. I see what you do for your family and your community. The world is a better place because of you. Thank you for holding up Half the Sky!

30 in 30!

I am turning 30 on June 12th and I want to do something BIG! So I challenged myself to raise $30,000 in 30 days. I need your help to make it possible.

mom_i_wedding_EDITHow can you help?

  • Become a $30 Empowerment Investor
  • Share with friends and family on Facebook & Twitter
  • Use the #30in30 to show your support
  • Challenge your favorite business to set-up a collection jar
  • Share your story of overcoming a life obstacle
  • Can you think of anything else? Get Creative!

When is the Campaign?

  • June 1st to 30th

Proceeds from the 30 in 30 campaign will benefit the Women’s Center of Greater Lansing and the Michigan Food & Farming Systems (MIFFS). Why? Because I want to live in a world where everyone can achieve their dream!

Share Your Story

I believe in the power of every day citizens to change the world. No matter how small or big it may seem we have all overcome an obstacle in life. This campaign is about sharing our stories and inspiring others to do the same. If you have a life story you are willing to share please email loucksra@gmail.com. Keep it short and sweet, no more than a couple paragraphs! Your story will be featured on our fundraising page, blog and social media. courage_half the sky

You know, I’m not sure. I will definitely ask at our next meeting. What a wonderful idea! Thanks for thinking of me.
